Food and wine samplings, plenty of great classical music and big-time sales. Who can argue with that?
On July 11, Snowmass Village will be swirling with the scent of savory foods and activity during Savor Snowmass, a brand new event that kicks off this weekend. It replaces the Snowmass Village Antiques Fair, which is canceled due to lack of vendor participation during this recession-stressed year.
But no matter. This locals' event offers no shortage of sampling, shopping and the potential to enjoy free family activities.
Restaurants will be serving up samplings of tasty snacks and entrees on the Snowmass Mall while Chef David Von Holten from the Artisan Restaurant and Chef Alan Sirull from the Brothers' Grill show their culinary skills during cooking demonstrations from 1 – 3 p.m. The Village-wide sidewalk sale will include specials from many Snowmass retailers both on the Snowmass Mall and in Base Village.
